    Information and discussion session on housing issues in the Valley, recognizing the need for increased housing diversity in the Valley. Dr. Marianne Jackson will explain the new HomeShare program offered by the Gibson Center; George Reagan of NH Housing Finance and Victoria Laracy of MWV Housing Coalition will discuss design ideas for Accessory Dwelling Units; presented by Jackson Housing Opportunities Matter, a 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization established to facilitate increased housing diversity in the Town of Jackson.

We will send out a separate email with instructions for seeking pastoral care in an emergency: deacons and local minister will be on call to support the community.

Rev Gail and church members are participating in this project. We will update the community about potential volunteer opportunities.

Church & Community Service Opportunities

Community Service: • Serve as coordinator for county Emergency Food and Shelter Program to distribute FEMA funds to local nonprofits • Volunteer on the Jackson fire department. • Come by and tackle a church “honey do” task. • Sign up to prepare coffee, serve refreshments, greet people at front door, or offer special music during worship. • Consider joining a church team. • Donate tents or sleeping bags and toiletries to day resource center for housing-insecure valley residents.
