    • Marianne Borowski is back!  One of our favorite local cyclists and the “wheels” behind the establishment of the Cross NH Adventure Trail (xNHAT), will be at the library to discuss this trail and other NH Rail Trails.  These trails are a great way for all ages and abilities to get outside for adventure, exercise, touring and looking for butterflies, birds, flowers, geocaches and scenic views.
    • If you are interested in an accompanying read Bartlett library has copies of Bicycling with Butterflies:  My 10,201-mile journey following the monarch migration by Sara Dykman available at the library.

    5:30-7pm• Jockey Cap summit: Meet @ Saco River Brewing Parking Lot, Fryeburg

    • Final date: 8/8
    • Classes will meet (weather permitting) from 5:30 – 7:00 PM in the parking lot of Saco River Brewing, located at 10 Jockey Cap Lane in Fryeburg.
    • Please bring yoga mat, water, sunscreen etc. All are welcome! No prior experience necessary.
    • Join Megan Mack-Nicholson, USVLT Board Member and owner of Holon Healing from the summit of Jockey Cap.

    • As part of the All Together Now Summer Reading Program, join Meredith for excellent Origami folding fun.  This program is suitable for beginners and experienced alike.The group will meet under the tent behind the library.  Summer Reading Program activities are designed for children ages 5-12 and run for 1 hour unless otherwise noted.     • Since 1972, The Sebago-Long Lake Music Festival has been devoted to presenting and promoting high-quality chamber music performances in Western Maine. In the summer of 2021, they recorded their first virtual concerts at the Majestic and fell in love with the acoustics of our hall. After two successful concerts in the 2022 season, the group returns in 2023.
    • Includes Béla Bartók’s Romanian Folk Dances for Cello and Piano; Serenade for Flute, Violin and Viola in D Major by Ludwig van Beethoven; and the Piano Quintet in F Minor by César Franck.
    • Doors and the Majestic Cafe open at 6:30.  Reserved seat performance is at 7:30.
    • Tickets are $29, $39 and $49 in advance, and $6 more at the door. Admission for 18 and under is $5.

    • Join Tin Mountain staff on a paddle down the Magalloway River, into Lake Umbagog, and back up the  Androscoggin River. Paddlers will be treated to ample opportunities to spot wildlife and the spectacular landscape of Lake Umbagog National Wildlife Refuge and the surrounding mountains. Use your own canoe/kayak or borrow ours.
