Chris Lewey, Raven Interpretive Programs, will discuss common migrating hawks of the northeast. The program will cover basic identification marks, flight, behavior, and sightings of hawks. Tin Mountain Conservation Center program.

9am • Meet at the Tin Mountain Conservation Center at Bald Hill Road in Albany and shuttle 25 minutes east to our put-in site.

Join Tin Mountain on an adventure on Kezar Pond and stream in Fryeburg, Maine. Tin Mountain staff will provide binoculars for use and we’ll stop at a secluded sand beach for lunch. We’ll search for wildlife such as Bald Eagle, Loon, and migrating shorebirds. Staff will teach paddling techniques for newbies and offer tips. Kezar Pond is away from roads and large power boats and is full of wildlife. It features wonderful views of Mount Washington and the White Mountains to the west.
