  • Community Event: NATURALIST LED HIKES in JACKSON 
    10am – Noon • Tin Mountain Field Station, Jackson
    Meet at the lower parking lot at TMCC, 31 Rockwell Dr (off Tin Mine Road), in Jackson, NH. Participants of all ages a welcome.  Program fee of $5/person or $20/family; members free.
  • Community Event: JACKSON FARMER’S MARKET3:30 – 6:30 pm •  Thompson House Eatery/T.H.E., Jackson, NH
    Local vendors, live music, fresh produce.
  • Community Event: NATURALIST LED WALKS
    6:30 – 7:30pm • Nature Learning Center, Albany
    Join a Tin Mountain naturalist for a dusk-time stroll through the Rockwell Sanctuary. All ages welcome. Program fee of $5/person or $20/family; members free.
  • Multi-Church Event: INSPIRED – WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY
    6:30pm • North Conway Community Center
    Come with your copy of the Inspired book and your own study Bible if you have one (we will bring extra Bibles for reference). Ministers Gail Doktor, Sue Davidson and Ruth Shaver will facilitate these weekly gatherings.

    Stretching and fitness workouts with certified fitness coach Laurie McAleer. Exercises can be adjusted to individual needs.
  • Community Event: WEDNESDAYS at WILDCAT 
    Noon- 2pm • Wildcat Mountain Ski Area, Pinkham Notch
    Explore Pinkham Notch with a Tin Mountain naturalist and learn about the diverse ecology of the region. Programs are free and open to the public. Alpine program requires the purchase of a gondola ticket. More info.

    Leadership meeting with officers and representatives of church teams to review church finances, governance and missions.

  • Community Event: MT WASHINGTON VALLEY CHAVURAH HEHARIMPOTLUCK DINNER & WORSHIP
    6pm • Private Home, Chatham, NH
    Rev Gail & Chris will attend this monthly meal and worship. From Chavurah: “Worship service at 6pm followed by a potluck and schmooze time with kiddush at 7pm. No pork or shellfish please. Please be courteous and contact hosts to let them know that you will attend and what you will bring: main dish, side dish, salad, dessert. Beverages also welcome. The monthly gathering is social, fun and an opportunity for renewing friendships and making new ones.” RSVP to hosts.

MON, Sept 2 – Labor Day

  • Community Event: CHILDRENS FUN RUN
    8:15am – Registration / 9am – Event Start  • Storyland, Glen, NH
    Kids 13 and under race through Story Land in Glen, NH for Believe in Books Literacy Foundation’s Kids Fun Run presented by Memorial Hospital and Story Land. All registrants will receive an event t-shirt, a race medal, and a free pass! Kids in school districts SAU 9, 13, 20, 3 & MSAD 72 have registration fee covered by Memorial Hospital, so they can race for free!  When registering, parents can enter the code: MHSCHOLAR to receive the scholarship. All other participants pay $10 donation to register!  All net proceeds from this event will go towards BIBLF’s Bookbag program. Register online.
