Meet at the Historic Triangle at corner of Wilson Rd & Black Mountain Rd in Jackson (in-person only)
This gathering recognizes the original site of the first church built in Jackson. Annual service and celebration organized by the Jackson Community Church and the Jackson Historical Society. Takes place rain or shine.
Highlights:
- Historical notes by Peter Benson
- Remembrance liturgy to honor the life of Warren Schomaker
- Event includes song, scripture, and interfaith readings
- Refreshments follow.
- Please bring a lawn chair in which to be seated.
- Parking is limited so share rides if possible.

- These gatherings are all held on Wednesdays at 1pm at old red library in Jackson, NH. Specifically for households who have experienced the death of a spouse, partner, adult sibling or parent (or other adult (HUMAN) relationships.
- We meet in-person only. At this point, new participants are welcome through word-of-mouth or referrals or if they read about this group through eNews or other outlets.
- We’ll meet as consistently as possible. You don’t have to attend every session. On the other hand, knowing that folks will gather helps make sure the group can be present to support each other. If you CANNOT make an upcoming gathering, please let Rev Gail know by email or text that you cannot attend: gaildoktor@mac.com, cell: 978.273.0308.
- We encourage people to seek additional support options, such as counseling, when possible, since this group cannot replace or offer therapy. We can make referrals if needed.

- Community Event: NATURALIST LED HIKE in Jackson
11am • Tin Mountain Conservation Center – Jackson Field Station property.- Highlights include the summit of Tin Mountain, a tin mine on the property, and historic homestead, and a mountain pond. Tin Mountain’s naturalist will explain the historic use of the property, help identify plant species, and point out animal signs. These hikes are a great way to explore the lesser trod trails of the White Mountains and avoid the crowds. Participants of all ages welcome.

This gathering will also include a Liturgy of Remembrance to recall our spiritual ancestors and honor the life of Warren Schomaker.
- This gathering recognizes the original site of the first church built in Jackson. It is an annual celebration organized by the Jackson Community Church and the Jackson Historical Society. Refreshments follow. Rain or shine; wear layers and sensible shoes.
- Please bring a camp / lawn chair in which to be seated. Parking is limited so share rides if possible. Bug spray may alsop be advisable.
