MON, Aug 13

  • DAY RESOURCE CENTER TEAM
    6:30pm • Nativity Lutheran Offices. Meeting of startup team to plan next steps in opening of Day Resource Center to serve homeless and housing insecure population of teens, families and adults. Rev Gail and church members are participating in this project. We will update the community about potential volunteer opportunities.

TUE, Aug 14

  • MATTER of BALANCE by Memorial Hospital Staff
    9-11am • Parish House. Class closed, filled to capacity. Contact Heather Phillips by phone: 603-356-5461, ext. 2187 or email for future class openings. This class ends Aug 14; hospital is scheduling follow-up fitness and balance classes for September and exploring additional multi-generational courses to be held in Jackson.

  • PASTOR’S DROP-IN HOURS
    7-9am • JTown Deli. Come by for hot beverage and conversation with Rev Gail.
  • TUNE UP FITNESS with Laurie McAleer 
    9am • Parish House, Jackson Community Church. Free. Men and women join fitness trainer Laurie McAleer for a gentle, introductory fitness class for beginners. Wear comfortable clothing, sensible shoes, and bring a bottle of water. Also bring a ski pole and a small ball and hand weights.

THURS, Aug 16

  •  INTRODUCTORY YOGA with Anjali Rose 
    9am • Parish House, Jackson Community Church. Join instructor Anjali Rose for a gentle, introductory yoga class. Wear stretchy fitness clothing, bring a mat and a cushion/blanket if you have them. $10/class for 6 weeks. Scholarships available.

  • Community Event: FRIDAY NIGHT VERTICAL 
    7pm • Black Mountain Ski Resort
    This summer we’ll be hosting a weekly vertical series at Black Mountain, Jackson NH. This series is for all abilities so whether you run or hike it doesn’t matter. New courses each week ascending a variety of terrain to the summit. It’s free and we’ll hang out at the summit or base lodge as dictated by the weather. There will also be raffle prizes and demos from select shoe brands. Hint: Walkers start at 6pm.
