Dec 1 — Hope That Begins Again
- Scripture: Isaiah 40:31 – “But those who wait for YHWH find a renewed power: they soar on eagles’ wings, they run and don’t get weary, they walk and never tire.”
- Reflection: Hope is not passive. Rather, hope is a deep, muscular, and defiant trust that renewal is possible. Possible even when circumstances feel unchanged. Advent hope lifts us—not away from the world, but returns us to it, stronger.
- Practice: Notice one place today where you feel tired. Ask: What renewal might God offer here?
