- Scripture: Romans 1:20 – Ever since the creation of the world God’s eternal power and divine nature, invisible though they are, have been seen and understood through the things God has made
- Reflection: In Genesis, God declared that each aspect of creation was good. All facets of creation are also reflections of God, thus they are inherently good. This doesn’t make the natural world easy … there’s the circle of life that occurs. And it can seem, or be, violent. Yet it is neither good nor bad. It simply is. Powerful. Real. Vital. Always changing. Breath-taking. Alarming.
As we admire the intricate designs of the world around us, let the beauty inspire us to seek a deeper relationship with Godself. - Spiritual Practice Prompt: What aspects of God do you observe when you spend time with some part of the natural world?

I go among trees and sit still.
All my stirring becomes quiet
around me like circles on water.
