This field sketching course will introduce participants to basic practices that will help artists draw with less stress and often more accurately. Participants will also learn key skills to change how they look at the beautiful wildflowers around them, including basic flower anatomy, observation skills and how to isolate the various shapes that make up an individual flower. Participants should bring a 9 x 12″ or larger sketchpad (newsprint pads not recommended), drawing pencils, and an eraser. No prior drawing experience is necessary.
