  All Flow Yoga practice that energizes the body and clears the mind. This breath-led, fluid class weaves together mindful transitions, strength-building sequences, and easeful stretches to support flexibility, balance, and grounded vitality. Accessible to participants at all levels. Bring mat, water, appropriate clothing.

  • The walk is approximately 2.5 miles and includes uneven terrain; please plan accordingly and dress for the weather. We will gather at the Nature Learning Center and leave from there. Explore Tin Mountain’s beautiful Albany property with Outreach Coordinator, Heather McKendry.
  • $15 per person/$25 per household/$5 for TMCC members. Pre-registration welcomed, but not required.

    The Last Caretaker of the Old Man in the Mountain: The Old Man of the Mountain was discovered in 1805. In 1945 the image of the Old Man became the Emblem of the State of New Hampshire. In 1960 the State of New Hampshire began care and maintenance of The Old man. Niels F.F. Nielsen Jr. began the annual inspections of the Old Man. In 1969 David C. Nielsen joined his father and started the legacy of caretaking. This is the historic story of the Old Man of the Mountain and his caretakers.
    This program is presented by Old Man in the Mountain caretaker David C. Nielsen, is FREE, and runs Sunday, August 30th from 4-5:30 pm at the Whitney Community Center. No Limit.
