    Free & Open to community. Space is limited so arrive early. Gentle chair-based fitness and stretching with additional use of balls, hand weights, bands, and hiking poles. Meets Tuesdays and Fridays at 9:30am.

      The Last Caretaker of the Old Man in the Mountain: The Old Man of the Mountain was discovered in 1805. In 1945 the image of the Old Man became the Emblem of the State of New Hampshire. In 1960 the State of New Hampshire began care and maintenance of The Old man. Niels F.F. Nielsen Jr. began the annual inspections of the Old Man. In 1969 David C. Nielsen joined his father and started the legacy of caretaking. This is the historic story of the Old Man of the Mountain and his caretakers.
      This program is presented by Old Man in the Mountain caretaker David C. Nielsen, is FREE, and runs Sunday, August 30th from 4-5:30 pm at the Whitney Community Center. No Limit.
