WED, Aug 24

    Gentle fitness class for all ages and abiliites. All welcome. Free!

THURS, Aug 25

  • Community Event: NATURALIST LED HIKES in JACKSON
    10am • Tin Mountain Site, Jackson, NH
    Thursdays 10am-12pm in July & August
    • Join Tin Mountain Conservation Center for weekly hikes at the Jackson Field Station property. Highlights include the summit of Tin Mountain, a tin mine on the property, and historic homestead, and a mountain pond. Tin Mountain’s naturalist will explain the historic use of the property, help identify plant species, and point out animal signs. These hikes are a great way to explore the lesser trod trails of the White Mountains and avoid the crowds. Participants of all ages welcome.
    • Program fee of $15/person or $25/household for non-members; members are free.

  • Community Event: ZUMBA with DOTTI
    • 8:15am * Whitney Community Center

  • Community Event: SLOW WALKING: Look, Listen & Learn on a Leisurely Stroll (Tin Mountain Conservation Center)
    9am * Location to be shared upon registration
    • The hot days of August are a prefect time to slow down and take a closer look at the natural world all around us. These leisurely investigations of the grounds are perfect for all ages. You are never too young or too old to take the time to look and listen.
    • Program Fee: $15/person or $25/household; members are free!

Wine, beer, & cocktails are available.  Doors open at 6:30 pm, music starts at 7pm.  Admission is limited to those 18 and older unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

  • Community Event: BUSY BEAVERS: Nature Center Exploration 
    9am *  Tin Mountain Conservation Center – Nature Learning Center
    • Join us for an exploration to the sanctuary’s beaver pond and all the evidence of past and current beaver activity along the way. And even if we don’t spot one of the resident rodents, don’t worry! We’ve got mounts, furs, and other resources to explore!

  • Community EVent: PSYCHIC READINGS with MEDIUM SARAH MOORE
    4pm • Jackson Public Library (outside under the tent)
    • IJoin us for this amazing gallery style event with psychic medium Sara Moore as she relays messages from them with clarity, gentleness, and humor. Sara communicates with people and pets on the other side, can give insight into your past, present and future or simply relay what your guides want you to know. Not everyone will get a reading, but the spirits are very good about relaying messages that are often relevant to more than one person in the room.
