  • Community Event: FORUM in RESPONSE to the SUPREME COURT’s ‘MUSLIM BAN’
    7-9pm• UNH School of Law, 2 White St, Concord
    Co-hosted by the United Valley Interfaith Project, the NH Council of Churches, the American Friends Service Committee-NH, and ACLU-NH. Robert Azzi will be a member of the panel addressing this issue.

  • TUNE UP FITNESS with Laurie McAleer
    9am • Parish House, Jackson Community Church. Free. Men and women join fitness trainer Laurie McAleer for a gentle, introductory fitness class for beginners. Wear comfortable clothing, sensible shoes, and bring a bottle of water. Also bring a ski pole and a small ball and hand weights.

  • INTRODUCTORY YOGA with Anjali Rose
    9am • Parish House, Jackson Community Church. Join instructor Anjali Rose for a gentle, introductory yoga class. Wear stretchy fitness clothing, bring a mat and a cushion/blanket if you have them. $10/class for 6 weeks. Scholarships available.
  • Community Event: TIN MINE EXPLORATION Nature Walks
    10am-Noon • Lower parking lot at Tin Mountain Conservation Center, 31 Rockwell Drive, (off of Tin Mine Road), Jackson, NH. Join Tin Mountain Conservation Center for an exploration of the historic 1840s Tin Mine including a small cave and numerous pit mines, plus geology of the area including a glacial erratic and a beautiful view of Mount Washington. $20/pp or $50/family.     4-5:30pm • Silver Lake, Madison, NH
    Meet at Silver lake Boat Launch on East Shore Drive, Madison. Tin Mountain Conservation Center teams up with with Fish Nerds Guide Service to offer 90-minute boat cruises on scenic Silver Lake. Reservations required: 603-447-6991 to reserve your space. Intro to the natural & cultural history of the area, identify wildlife and ecological features of the landscape. Binoculars available. Suggested: water bottles, sunscreen, hats, and an extra layer. Additional dates: 4pm Thursdays: July 19, Aug 2, Aug 23 & 2pm Saturdays: Sept 8, Sept 29. More info.
