    7-9am • JTown Deli. Come by for hot beverage and conversation with Rev Gail.
  • TUNE UP FITNESS with Laurie McAleer 
    9am • Parish House, Jackson Community Church. Free. Men and women join fitness trainer Laurie McAleer for a gentle, introductory fitness class for beginners. Wear comfortable clothing, sensible shoes, and bring a bottle of water. Also bring a ski pole and a small ball and hand weights.

    9am • Parish House, Jackson Community Church. Join instructor Anjali Rose for a gentle, introductory yoga class. Wear stretchy fitness clothing, bring a mat and a cushion/blanket if you have them. $10/class for 6 weeks. Scholarships available.

  • Community Event: OUT of the SHADOWS
    7pm • North Conway Community Center. Panel of guests discussing the issue of homelessness and poverty in our community and how it affects the youth and families in and around our MWV area. Organized by North Country Cares and supported by Clergy of the Eastern Slope working on teen homelessness initiative / day center project.
  • Community Event: Mountain Top Music Center’s ‘FOLK-JAZZ’ HOME CONCERT
    7:30pm • Private Residence, Jackson, NH. From the northeast corner of rural Texas, award winning songwriters Lynn Adler and Lindy Hearne will perform at a private home in Jackson. Tickets are $35 and may be purchased on line: mountaintopmusic.org or by calling Mountain Top: 603-447-4737.  Directions to the lovely home on the banks of the Wildcat River in Jackson will be provided as part of the ticketing process.  Seating is limited to 50 guests for this intimate concert. Special Meeting to Call Rev. Gordon M. Rankin
as New Hampshire’s UCC Conference Minister

The Reverend Gordon M. Rankin has been nominated to be the new NH UCC Conference Minister. Read the letter from Neal Cass, Chairperson of the Conference Minister Search Committee.

The special meeting will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2018, at Laconia Congregational Church, UCC, at 11 AM. (Click here for directions to the church.) The agenda will include time to hear Gordon speak and a brief business meeting with vote. A reception and celebration will follow. 27 member churches must be represented for this vote.

Opportunities to “meet and greet” Gordon Rankin prior to the special meeting voting on his acceptance as NH’s new UCC area conference minister.
