  • SCOUT MEETING
    6-7pm • Parish House, Jackson Community Church. Scouts prepare for Flag Ceremony for Thursday’s Veterans Day observances at Jackson Grammar School and also to participate in Armistice Day observances at church on Sunday.

  • PASTOR’s DROP-IN HOURS

    10am • Gibson Center. Rev Gail serves  on the AARP/WHO project steering committee and active on subcommittees.

  • Community Event: HOUSING FORUM UPDATE
    5:30-7pm • Whitney Community Center
    Free; all welcome. Includes light supper; childcare available. You are invited to a discussion about housing ideas and issues. This second Community Forum provides an opportunity to hear the consultant’s findings from studies of our community and our housing needs, of state and local laws and regulations, and of successful steps taken in other towns.     8am • Gazebo. Hot beverages available. Come for poetry, literature, conversation and prayer. We will meet outside this weekend, but move to an indoor location if it’s too cold.

    9am • Sanctuary. Choir rehearsal with director Mary Littlefield. Preparation for Veterans Day service participation.

    • Novembering: Bring an object or picture to place in the sanctuary for a few weeks, honoring the lives of our loved ones who have died.
