    Noon • Brown Church, Conway VillageComposer Ken Turley of Bridgton, ME, presents a variety of new works with help from faculty and friends. FREE, but donations to the renovation of the Bolduc Block and Majestic Theater are gratefully accepted.

    * All welcome to join us to go caroling in Bartlett and Jackson among individuals and families who are housebound or otherwise in need of a musical home visit. We will drive or carpool on 2 separate routes; carolers will split into 2 teams.

  • 9am: Families arrive at 9am to get into costume and review roles/lines. Also practice intergenerational song with adult choir led by Mary Littlefield.
  • 10:30am: Worship with pageant begins.

PEACE & PIZZA CONCERT

Sun, Dec 9
4pm • Jackson Community Church

with Four Feet & Two Shoes (aka Dennis O’Neil & Davey Armstrong).

These local musicians will perform some of their favorite songs with the theme of peace woven into this rollicking musical mix! Donations welcome; open to the public. The Shannon Door welcomes hungry concert-goers to eat pizza afterward (dining out is at each participant’s own cost.)

PEACE PROGRAM

Old Red Library

Commemorating the 100th Anniversary of Armistice and the “War to End All Wars” as the First World War was known. Opportunity for people to bring in poems, songs, artwork, medals received, etc.

Includes:

  • Musical performance of “Christmas in the Trenches” by Dexter Harding.
  • Poetry selections offered by Tony Deluca
  • Other contributions to this topic through poetry, literature and art.
