  • Community Event: ESHQUA BOG & SHOWY LADY SLIPPER FIELD TRIP
    8am-4pm. • Tin Mountain Conservation Center (trip to ME). Meet at TMCC to carpool. Eshqua Bog is a 40-acre property  owned by the Nature Conservancy of VT and the New England Wildflower Society. Walk on a recently installed accessible boardwalk at height of the showy lady slipper orchid bloom. Bring your camera, binoculars, lunch and water. More info.
  • UCC Event: INTERFAITH PRAYER VIGIL for IMMIGRANT JUSTICE
    8:30-10am • Norris Cotton Federal Building, 275 Chestnut Street, Manchester. This is the location of the ICE offices for our state. Future vigils at same time and location: June 27 (Wed), July 3 & July 17. From: NH Council of Churches.

  • TUNE UP Fitness with Laurie McAleer
    9am • Parish Hall, Jackson Community Church. Free. Men and women join fitness trainer Laurie McAleer for a gentle, introductory fitness class for beginners. Wear comfortable clothing, sensible shoes, and bring a bottle of water. Also bring a ski pole and a small ball and hand weights.

What difference does water quality mean to you and your family? Join us for a presentation concerning Groundwater Protection opportunities in Jackson. Also available at that time will be information about flood zones and flood protection, radon and arsenic naturally occurring in many of our well water systems, and more water-related issues.
