Olga Morrill will explore what colonial life was like for the first generation of American-born settlers. She will discuss how the Puritans governed, and why they react so violently to the Religious Society of Friends. By the end of her talk , we will find out who were the original proponents of religious toleration and equality on American soil. Olga Morrill recently published the book Vagabond Quakers: Northern Colonies. For more details, visit www.vagabondquakers.wordpress.com. $5 donation is welcome to offset presenter expenses.
