Community Event: FRIDAY NIGHT VERTICAL7pm • Black Mountain Ski Resort
This summer we’ll be hosting a weekly vertical series at Black Mountain, Jackson NH. This series is for all abilities so whether you run or hike it doesn’t matter. New courses each week ascending a variety of terrain to the summit. It’s free and we’ll hang out at the summit or base lodge as dictated by the weather. There will also be raffle prizes and demos from select shoe brands. Hint: Walkers start at 6pm.

7pm • Jackson Public Library. Presented by retired librarian Olga Morrill. Few people are aware of the shocking events that occurred in 17th-century New England. Olga Morrill will explore what colonial life was like for the first generation of American-born settlers. She will discuss how the Puritans governed, and why they react so violently to the Religious Society of Friends. By the end of her talk , we will find out who were the original proponents of religious toleration and equality on American soil.
