    10am • Tin Mountain Site, Jackson, NH
    • Join Tin Mountain Conservation Center for weekly hikes at the Jackson Field Station property. Highlights include the summit of Tin Mountain, a tin mine on the property, and historic homestead, and a mountain pond. Tin Mountain’s naturalist will explain the historic use of the property, help identify plant species, and point out animal signs. These hikes are a great way to explore the lesser trod trails of the White Mountains and avoid the crowds. Participants of all ages welcome.

    • Meet the National Geographic author at explorer Mark Jenkins at an afternoon book signing at White Birch Books in North Conway. Mark will discuss some of the process that goes into writing about his adventures, answer questions, and share some of his favorite excerpts. This program is free and open to the public.

    • Join Tin Mountain this fall for a fun new adventure! We are hosting a weekend of speakers sharing adventures from around the globe.
    • Worldwide explorer, National Geographic writer and author Mark Jenkins will present Vietnam Underground: The Viet Cong, Spelunkers and the Biggest Cave on Earth. Also on Saturday evening Enock Glidden, an explorer, climber, and skier from Maine, who was born with Spina Bifida leaving him without the use of his legs, will share his philosophies and climbing adventures in his presentation, How can I? My Ascent of El Capitan.

    • Come catch some South Beach vibe with Miami Spice. Fronted by South Florida pianist Mike Levine (piano) and featuring Latin Grammy winner and Sabian Cymbals Artist Richard Bravo (latin percussion) – backed by Mike Sakash (saxophone/clarinet), Al Hospers (bass), Jarrod Taylor (guitar), and Samuel Levine (drum set) The concert will feature multiple forms of Latin Jazz, including Salsa, Afro-Cuban, and a bit of Brazilian, with a few detours into funk, heavy shuffle, and fusion.

      This is an outdoor dinner concert. Should Inclement weather occur, the event will be moved inside the Tavern.
    • Along with a new stellar 6 piece ensemble, the Shadow Riders perform hits like “Can’t You See” and “Heard it in a Love Song.” The Shadow Riders is a name Toy Caldwell used for his backing group for a time and the title of one of his songs.
