    •  Upcoming dates: Wednesdays @ 1pm, Sept 25, Oct 9, Nov 13.
    • These gatherings are all held on Wednesdays at 1pm at old red library in Jackson, NH. Specifically for households who have experienced the death of a spouse, partner, adult sibling or parent (or other adult (HUMAN) relationships.
    • We meet in-person only. At this point, new participants are welcome through word-of-mouth or referrals or if they read about this group through eNews or other outlets.
    • We’ll meet as consistently as possible. You don’t have to attend every session. On the other hand, knowing that folks will gather helps make sure the group can be present to support each other. If you CANNOT make an upcoming gathering, please let Rev Gail know by email or text that you cannot attend: gaildoktor@mac.com, cell: 978.273.0308.
    • We encourage people to seek additional support options, such as counseling, when possible, since this group cannot replace or offer therapy. We can make referrals if needed.

    • Melodies & Munchkins w/Riley Waygood:  Thursday, August 22 @ 11 a.m.
      Join us under the tent for Melodies and Munchkins, 45 minutes of pure musical joy, fun, movement, singing and instrument play with music educator Riley Waygood. This program is designed for children 0 – 3 and their caregivers but siblings and slightly older children are most welcome. Melodies and Munchkins at the library is sponsored by the Friends of Jackson Public Library. All are welcome and participation is free.

    • Knitters and needlers of all skill levels are welcome to join this JPL group.  We meet every Thursday @ 4 p.m. Bring your projects, ideas, questions, and good cheer to this fun afternoon of portable  needling crafts.  Currently this group is for adult crafters.

    • This summer, Ride the Whites, will be hosting a weekly Thursday Night Gravel ride.
    • Ride starts and ends at Ledge Brewery located in Intervale.
    • The group ride will feature two groups, a sporty spandex group and the party pace no drop group.
    • Each group will ride between 50 – 60 minutes on Town Hall Road and turn back and retrace their tire tracks back to Ledge

    • Originally from Trinidad and Tobago, Sista Dee is known for her steel pan playing, and vocal style. She has also won many steel pan competitions as an arranger / band director. Currently Sista Dee performs all over the world as a musician for Holland America cruise lines.
    • Tickets are $25 online, $30 at the door and $20 for BIBLF members. Children under 10 are free!

  • HISTORIC TRIANGLE SERVICE
    8am • Historic triangle at corner of Wilson Rd & Black Mountain Rd (in-person only)

    • Songs, scripture, interfaith readings, historical notes by Peter Benson, and brief communal reflection. This gathering will also include a Liturgy of Remembrance to recall our spiritual ancestors and honor the life of Warren Schomaker.
    • This gathering recognizes the original site of the first church built in Jackson. It is an annual celebration organized by the Jackson Community Church and the Jackson Historical Society. Refreshments follow. Rain or shine; wear layers and sensible shoes.
    • Please bring a camp / lawn chair in which to be seated. Parking is limited so share rides if possible. Bug spray may alsop be advisable.

    • The Friends of the Whitney Community Center and the Jackson Historical Society will be hosting the the 2nd Annual Pictures of Jackson Photography Show.
    • Along with a Jackson Historical Society exhibit, a slide show of pictures provided by community members synced with music will be shown. What better way to gather with community members and celebrate Jackson?
