MISSIONS PROJECTS for our NEIGHBORS this WINTER GIFTS that KEEP on GIVING

WAY STATION: KEEPING OUR HOMELESS NEIGHBORS WARM THIS WINTER

In this upcoming holiday season,  we are focusing on “gifts that keep on giving”.  Your shopping list can be shortened and your wrapping reduced when you make a donation to the Way Station in someone’s honor. The Way Station is in need of cold weather supplies such as all-weather tents and warm sleeping bags, along with gas cards for those whose cars are their shelter, laundry cards for keeping the sleeping bags clean, grocery cards for a warm meal, and more.  You can help with your money donation, which enables the Way Station to purchase the proper items to distribute to their clients.  The Missions team has designed beautiful gift cards for you to send to your gift recipient when you have made a donation. FYI: A winter sleeping bag costs $80 and a cold weather tent costs $70.  The amount of your gift is up to you. All donations will be used to purchase cold weather supplies.

  • Mission team members will be accepting donations after Sunday services during November and early December, or you can contact Meg Phillips.
  • Checks can be made payable to Jackson Community Church with a notation for Way Station or they can be made out directly to the Way Station.
