First Full Week of Lent: Deepening Faith
March 16 (Sunday – Resting/Taking Sabbath)
- Scripture: Exodus 20:8 – Remember the Sabbath day and keep it holy.
- Reflection: In our noisy, demanding world, we struggle to take time out for rest, renewal and reflection. Today is a time to refresh our spirits, including time set aside to experience God’s presence. What helps you experience calm, peace, and centered-ness?
- Spiritual Practice Prompt: Create time today for reflection and rest. Make it a time to BE versus DO.
