Friday, June 20
- Scripture: Isaiah 9:3 – “You have enlarged the nation and increased their joy; they rejoice before you as people rejoice at the harvest, as warriors rejoice when dividing plunder.”
- Reflection: What part of your life, including your interconnected psychological, spiritual, emotional and physical practices, gives you joy or happiness? Sometimes it arises as an added outcome of daily acts and common experiences. When we have a sense of the goodness and abundance in our lives, rooted in God’s blessings, that assurance then overflows into our lives and communities.
- Spiritual Practice Prompt: Celebrate a recent blessing — an outgrowth of the spiritual seeds you have sown — by telling someone else about that positive moment or experience or outcome. Sharing also increases the joy of others.

Focus on the journey, not the destination. Joy is found not in finishing an activity but in doing it. — Greg Anderson
I slept and dreamt that life was joy. I awoke and saw that life was service. I acted and behold, service was joy. — Rabindranath Tagore
We need to give each other the space to grow, to be ourselves, to exercise our diversity. We need to give each other space so that we may both give and receive such beautiful things as ideas, openness, dignity, joy, healing, and inclusion. — Max de Pree
