Day 9 — Renewed Courage
- Scripture: Isaiah 40:31 — “Those who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength.”
- Reflection: Waiting is not weakness. Rather waiting becomes an act of courage. Time is required for renewal and change to take place. Thus patience and trust become factors in our capacity to slow down, pause, and wait.
Waiting doesn’t mean we lack agency. Rather we may be actively participating or partnering in change, yet we cannot control all external factors. So how we respond becomes a part of the process.
Breathe. Gain perspective. Let the journey unfold - Practice: Wait before reacting today. Notice what changes. How do you respond when you take a breath in and breathe out, before responding?
