Day 6 — Renewed Mind
- Scripture: Romans 12:2 — “Be transformed by the renewing of your minds.”
- Reflection: Today is Epiphany. How appropos, then, this Biblical passage. We receive a new perception. We find illumination, guidance, and the possibility of transformation.
Renewal often begins in how we tell our own stories—especially the harsh ones. Can we know ourselves, and be compassionate for our past selves, own the person we were and our impact on others, and also embrace who we’ve become or we’re becoming? Can we love ourselves, imperfections and all, and know we are enough? God has already chosen us. Can we also choose ourselves? - Practice: Replace one self-critical thought with a compassionate truth.
