JCC will participate as part of the 2025 Eagle’s Rest Alzheimer’s team. [Npte: Although the fundraising page is set up under the Maine Beaches walk page again, we walk locally on our own day and date.]
As a reminder, we are walking on Friday Aug 29, meeting at Great Glen Trails.
This event is open to everyone who wishes to participate or support (registration required). Hopefully we will have great weather and foliage as we did last year.

We have a team! Hope you all are having a wonderful summer! This is a “Save the Date” email.
The 2025 Jen’s Friends Climb against Cancer is happening Saturday September 13th at Cranmore Mt. Thank you so much for joining our team in the past!
Last year our Jackson Community Church team of 49 folks raised over $5,000! We hope you will be able to join us again this year to participate in anyway that works for you: climb, ride the chairlift, cheer on the hikers, donate, you name it! Bring along more friends and family! It is such a fun morning with music, Silent auction, dance performance, free lunch, and camaraderie!
WHY? Jen’s Friends gives 100% of monies raised to MWV cancer patients to help defray costs incurred during treatment such as groceries, utility bills, gas cards, mortage,rent,taxes, specialty items for cancer patients, etc.,expenses not covered by insurance. All volunteer run!
WHO STARTED THIS? Jen Hill’s friends and family supported her financially through cancer treatment and she requested it was to be shared with other cancer patients 26 years ago.

WHAT IF I CAN’T CLIMB OR WILL BE AWAY?
No problem! You can ride the chairlift up,down, or both,for free! Watch Jean Limmer dancers at the summit. Enjoy a free lunch, music, silent auction. Or you can donate to our team, “JCC Jen’s Friends and solicit friends,neighbors and family to donate to our team.
