    • Inspired by old photographs from his grandfather, Gabriel Andrus sets out on cross country skis to explore winter in New Hampshire, meeting locals along the way, and discovering how winter in New Hampshire is changing. Stick around after the film for a follow up discussion about climate change and carbon capture options. Hosted by the MWV Climate Change Working Group and Tin Mountain Conservation Center.

  • Community Event: BRUNCH & CELTIC MUSIC with the White Mountain Céilí Band

    • Join us at The Majestic Café for a late-morning/early-afternoon celebration of St. Patrick’s Day, with entertainment courtesy of the White Mountain Céilí Band (Fiona Howell, Siena Kaplan-Thompson, & Dexter Harding). WMCB perform traditional Irish music with warmth and joy, and this is the ideal space in which to experience their expertise.
    • Shepherds pies are provided by Two Mums Kitchen (Gray, ME), and we will be grilling Irish Reuben paninis, as well as mixing cocktail specials in the form of Irish Coffee Martinis and Irish Spritzes.
    • In order to accommodate all interested parties, seating will be staggered with each grouping attending at least 1h15m of music. Bar seats will be left unreserved so that patrons who wish to can stay and enjoy another drink. When making your reservation, you will be given the option of pre-ordering food – this allows th
    • e kitchen to operate as smoothly as possible. The menu options are as follows:
      • Shepherds Pie, served with a side salad – $17.50
      • Sweet Potato Shepherds Pie, served with a side salad – $17.50
      • Irish Reuben (corned beef, red cabbage, Swiss, 1000 Island) – $15
      • Veggie Reuben (red cabbage, dill pickles, Swiss, 1000 Island) – $12
