    • Join us for a self-guided and illuminated uphill ski-tour to the Alpine Cabin (aka Lostbo Cabin) where you’ll find drinks, live music, and great company. Participants can ski down at their leisure up until the last call at 7:30 pm. This event is family-friendly and we recommend brinigng a headlamp!
    • Cost: $20 for Passholders / $40 for Non Passholders

    • Experience the best of mountain life at Black Mountain Fest on February 22nd—a dynamic combo event in partnership with Whitneys! Explore a relaxing sauna and cold plunge village at Whitneys, groove to multiple live music sets at the Base Lodge, Alpine Cabin, and Whitneys, and treat yourself to enticing food specials.
    • Join us for a day of wellness, music, food, and laughter in a truly unique mountain celebration.
  • Community Event: WINTER WANDER
    10am • Tin Mountain, Albany

    • Wander Tin Mountain’s Albany property on a guided tour and see what winter has in store! Interesting animal tracks, our resident birds, beautiful conifers, Chase Pond and unexpected sites await us. The terrain is variable, and so is the weather, so dress for the day and (depending on the snow conditions) wear snowshoes or boot traction devices. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.
    • We have all snowshoe sizes available for use; they are free for members and $15pp for non-members (so consider becoming a member).

  • Community Event: PAINTING & SNOWSHOE RETREAT

    • This event is organized and managed by a local artist and business owner, Melanie Levitt.
    • Join owner of Jackson Art and award winning painter, Melanie Levitt, for a unique experience combining snowshoeing and studio painting in the White Mountains of NH. (total beginners and intermediate painters both welcome)
    • The retreat will start with a short private snowshoe tour led by Jackson Ski Touring Center.

  • Community Event: SOGGY PO BOYS WORKSHOP
    2pm •  Mountain Top Music

    • A workshop on New Orleans jazz and more. The Po’ Boys will play a bit, demonstrate some of their techniques, and talk about the history of their music – and then jam with workshop attendees. Anyone can play for – and with! – the band. All instruments invited. Sheet music available, or play by ear. Don’t miss this hands-on experience of New Orleans sounds! In the Majestic Cafe.

  • Community Event: NEW ORLEANS NIGHT SERIES FINALE: Soggy Po Boys

    • The final event in our series is the Soggy Po’ Boys, New England natives who have become a regional institution, spreading the good news of New Orleans music across the northeast and beyond.

  • Community Event: WALT WHITMAN

    4pm * Whitney Community Center

    • Be a visitor in Walt Whitman’s room as he prepares for his seventieth birthday celebration. You will watch as Whitman transforms from his young vibrant self that led to the creation of Leaves of Grass, to how his life was changed forever by the Civil War. Understand Whitman through the recitation of poetry and readings of actual letters as he grows into a mature artist who is at peace about “himself, God and death.”
    • This program is presented by Stephen Collins a Shakespearean trained actor with more than 40 years of theatrical experience under his belt, is FREE and runs Sunday, February 23rd from 4-5:30 pm at the Whitney Community Center.
