Day 21 — Love That Casts Out Fear
- Scripture: 1 John 4:18 – “There is no fear in love, for perfect love casts out fear.”
- Reflection: What we fear, we often avoid. What God loves, God moves toward.
Often in emergencies, the only people moving toward the danger are first responders. Imagine such love, that you choose to turn toward what is risky and dangerous. God turns toward us, moves toward us, chooses us. And we are messy and unpredictable. And beloved by God. - Practice: Identify one fear-based reaction today and gently choose love instead.
