Day 19 — Joy in Community
- Scripture: Philippians 1:3–4 – “I thank my God every time I remember you… praying with joy for all of you.”
- Reflection: How incredible that one of the ways we experience and offer joy is by giving it back to our community. Joy multiplies when shared. We are designed for human connection, and often our inner gifts are magnified when we share them. We are also enriched when we permit ourselves to receive such gifts in return.
How often did you end up smiling when you gathered with friends or volunteered with a group this season? That feeling doesn’t have to end with the holidays … gathering, giving time, offering yourself … that’s valuable every day, every season. Joy is contagious … it spreads. It ripples out and keeps going. - Practice: Send a message to someone who brings joy to your life.
