LIVING, LEARNING & LOVING during LENT
Lenten devotionals for March and April. We will focus on a different concept each day of the week: Sundays: Resting/Taking Sabbath Mondays: Fasting Tuesdays: Giving Wednesdays: Serving Thursdays: Praying Fridays: Studying/Learning Saturdays: Celebrating/Playing.
April 5 (Saturday – Celebrating/Playing)
- Scripture: Psalm 47:1 – Clap your hands, all you peoples; shout to God with loud songs of joy
- Reflection: Make some noise today. Sing. Dance. Speak out. Recite poetry. Shout! Talk to someone you enjoy and appreciate. Laugh out loud. Find a way to make some noise and prompt some fun.
Know that your pleasure reflects God’s pleasure. You are made in God’s image and likeness, with the capacity for play and discovery, for making noise as well as savoring silence. Make some music! - Spiritual Practice Prompt: Sing out loud or make music today! Then give thanks for that moment of pleasure. Have some fun.
