Day 23 — Laughter
- Scripture: Psalm 126:2: Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with shouts of joy…
- Reflection: Laughter liberates. It offers a release of fear, grief, tension. Such healing and freedom is sacred.
God fashioned us to reflect and share delight. Even medical outcomes show that laughter reduces blood pressure and boosts immunity. We are made to rejoice, to laugh, to be glad and even giddy sometimes. Not just to mimic God’s joy, but to experience and share our own. - Practice: Listen to, read, or watch something that makes you laugh. Let your body exhale joy.
