Outside food or beverage is not allowed on our premises. The permit holder (SMAC) is responsible for any and all food and beverage consumed on our premises so it needs to be provided by us. Not to mention, we’re tryin’to make a livin’ here!

Washington Valley Through the Ears, learn about the rich history of The Mountain Ear newspaper and the fascinating people and places that played pivotal roles in the evolution of the Mount Washington Valley. Discover how the vibrant community of Jackson, including the pioneering efforts of Betty and Bill Whitney at their inn and ski slopes, shaped this iconic New Hampshire region. This engaging look back provides insight into the local events, notable figures, and daily life that made the Valley what it is today.
