June 16 Daily Devotional

Monday, June 16

  • Scripture: Galatians 5:22–23 – “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.”
  • Reflection: Just as a healthy plant bears fruit, a life rooted in the Spirit produces virtues that enrich both ourselves and others. Cultivating these qualities requires intentionality and daily nurturing.
  • Spiritual Practice Prompt: Identify one fruit of the Spirit you’d like to grow more in. Pray for God’s help in cultivating this fruit today.

Song:

“Jesus said the weeds would grow with the wheat until the Judgement,” Dietrich answered, “so one finds both good men and bad in the Church. By our fruits we will be known, not by what name we have called ourselves. I have come to believe that there is more grace in becoming wheat than there is in pulling weeds.”  ― Michael Flynn
