- Scripture: James 1:17 – “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights.”
- Reflection: What sort of light do you appreciate the most? Light at the beginning and end of the day? The light in the night sky, such as stars and moon? The light of day, from the rambling sun? Light filtered through the trees? Light dancing on the water? Rare acts of light, such as fracturing into rainbows? The cool light of winter or the hot sun of summer?
Light is one of many of creation’s gifts from the Creator. In this season of spring, may we recognize and appreciate God’s good gifts in our lives. - Spiritual Practice Prompt: Share an image of your favorite kind of light. Soak it in. Let it inside. Reflect it back again into the world. Smile. Extend your hand.
