JCC Has a One-Day Candlepin Bowling Team: HOLY ROLLERS! JCC requested Sunday, May 3 time slot.Soooo: We need four willing bowlers on Sun, May 3 (1-4pm). You don’t have to be good, just WILLING to roll! Please RSVP to the church if you’d like to bowl with us. If we get LOTS of interest, we can add another team.
Event details:
- Rally at the Alley 2026 brings together organizations and people to have fun while raising funds for The Way Station. Candlepin Bowling is an awesome way for people to spend time together.
- JCC will pay the $200 fee to cover the team’s participation. Entry Fee per TEAM includes bowling for the four bowlers, shoe rental, and pizza/beverages/snacks and an event t-shirt. Some of this fee will also go to the overall fundraising success for The Way Station.
- The bowlers participate having to pay $0. Nothing.
- The **ONLY** thing required of each of the 4 bowlers on the TEAM: Find 10 people to make a gift **OF ANY AMOUNT** to The Way Station. People can make donations directly at the waystationnh.org site under the Rally at the Alley button and notify the team participants of the donation. Hey Pride Festival booth volunteers! JCC is once again hosting a lemonade booth on Sat, June 27th at the White Mountains Pride festival! JCC is a sponsor for this valley-wide event.
- Claire Mallette is coordinating the JCC Pride Festival team. (Rev Gail is out of state for this weekend, so we need EXTRA hands and energy!). RSVP to Claire.
- Please RSVP and let Claire know if you will volunteer at the JCC lemonade booth again this year. Also indicate whether you can be available all day, all morning, all afternoon, or for a shorter two-hour shift as outlined below.
- Also: Nativity Lutheran, Bartlett Congregational, and First Church in North Conway will be present! We set up in conjunction with Nativity Lutheran Church under two tents with shared display of rainbow lemonade and juice drinks.

- 8-10am: Set up
- 10am-Noon
- Noon -2pm
- 2-4pm
- 4-4:30pm: Breakdown
- All Day (9:30am-4:30pm)
- All Morning (8-Noon)
- Afternoon (Noon-4:30pm)
Urgent Action Requested for
HAWAII FLOOD VICTIMS

HAWAII FLOOD VICTIMS

- For a $10 donation you can help JCC to fill Hygiene Bags to assist flood victims, including UCC congregations in Hawaii.
- We plan to fill a box of 24 bags before April 30.
- Please make a $10 donation by cash or check to JCC, memo: Flood Victims. Our goal is $288, including $48 to help offset cost of delivery.
- Look for a donation basket at coffee hour, drop your donation in the Sunday offering or mail to: Jackson Community Church, PO Box 381, Jackson, NH 03846.
- The Mission Team will purchase the items on their specific list of needs.
- We invite you to join us at an assembly party on Tuesday April 21 at 11 AM at JCC!
- Once assembled, our box of 24 bags will then be delivered to a drop-off church in Portland.
